“Intend to do sth” 用法详解
什么是 “intend to do sth”？
“Intend to do something” 是英语中一个常见的动词短语，表示“打算做某事”或“有意做某事”。它强调说话人当前的计划或意图。
I intend to travel to Japan next spring.
我打算明年春天去日本旅行。
基本结构
主语 + intend + to + 动词原形（+ 其他成分）
- Affirmative（肯定句）：She intends to study abroad.
- Negative（否定句）：They don’t intend to sell the house.
- Question（疑问句）：Do you intend to attend the meeting?
常见搭配与用法
- intend to + 动词原形（最常用）
He intends to start a new business.
- be intended to + 动词原形（表示“旨在…”、“被设计用于…”）

注意事项
❗ “Intend” 后面不能直接跟动名词（-ing 形式），这是常见错误。

❌ 错误：I intend calling you tomorrow.
另外，“intend” 表达的是“意图”，不等于“一定会发生”。如果想表达更确定的计划，可用 “plan to” 或 “going to”。
