基本概念
动词 prefer 表示“更喜欢”,后面可以接不定式(to do)或动名词(doing)。两者在多数情况下意思相近,但在细微语境中有差别。
一般规则
- prefer doing:通常表示一种习惯性或长期的偏好。
- prefer to do:常用于特定情境下的选择或一次性决定。
I prefer drinking tea. (我平时更喜欢喝茶。)
I prefer to drink tea today. (今天我更想喝茶。)

常见误区
- ❌ “I prefer to doing…” → ✅ 应为 “I prefer doing…” 或 “I prefer to do…”
- ❌ 混淆 “would prefer” 和 “prefer”:
- “I would prefer to leave now.”(现在想离开)
- “I prefer leaving early.”(习惯早走)
