Once upon a time, there was a king who loved new clothes more than anything else in the world. He changed his outfit many times a day and spent all his money on the finest fabrics and tailors.
One day, two clever swindlers came to the city. They claimed they could weave the most beautiful cloth — so fine that only wise people could see it. The foolish king, eager to prove his wisdom, ordered a suit made from this magical fabric.
As the swindlers pretended to work, no one dared admit they saw nothing — not even the king himself! On the day of the grand parade, the king proudly walked through the streets wearing “nothing” but his pride… until a child shouted, “But he has nothing on!”
The truth spread like wildfire. The king realized his vanity had blinded him — and learned that honesty is far more valuable than any piece of clothing.
