什么是 Compose 和 Comprise？
Compose 和 Comprise 都表示“组成”或“构成”，但它们的用法截然不同，容易混淆。
Compose 的用法
Compose 表示“由……组成”，通常用于被动语态：be composed of。
- Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen.（水由氢和氧组成。）
- The committee is composed of five members.（该委员会由五名成员组成。）
主动语态中，compose 表示“创作、撰写”（如作曲、写诗等），不用于表示“组成整体”。
Comprise 的用法
Comprise 表示“包含、由……构成”，主语是整体，宾语是部分，不加 of。
- The United Kingdom comprises England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
- A year comprises twelve months.
注意：不要说 “is comprised of”（尽管口语中常见，但在正式写作中应避免）。
