What Are Teething Issues?
Teething is a natural process that typically begins around 6 months of age. As your baby’s teeth push through the gums, it can cause discomfort, irritability, and other symptoms commonly referred to as "teething issues."
Common Signs & Symptoms
- Excessive drooling
- Chewing on objects
- Irritability or fussiness
- Sore or swollen gums
- Mild fever (under 101°F / 38.3°C)
- Disrupted sleep or eating patterns
Note: High fever, diarrhea, or severe symptoms are not caused by teething and should be evaluated by a pediatrician.
Safe & Natural Remedies
Cold Teethers
Chilled (not frozen) teething rings can soothe sore gums.
Gentle Gum Massage
Use a clean finger to softly rub your baby’s gums.
Soft Foods
Offer cold applesauce or yogurt if your baby eats solids.
Comfort & Cuddles
Sometimes, extra love is the best remedy.
